CAKES - Cup Cakes

Cup Cakes are all the fashion at the moment and they are a product I particularly enjoy making. My definition of a cup cake is any cake that can be fitted into a patti pan! I think because they are small  it’s easier to do a variety of them. Therefore, they are not your usual madiera cake with icing on top. Why not mix and match from the list below? Just choose the cake you want and match it with your favourite topping. Min order 6 per selection.

Carrot, apple, banana, zuccini and lime, orange, citrus, mud, white mud, coffee pecan, coffee, caramel, vanilla, ginger, coconut.

TOPPINGS: In most cases you can choose which colour frosting you’d like too!

Fresh cream, vanilla butter cream, passionfruit frosting, cream cheese, caramel, dark chocolate ganache, white chocolate ganache, white chocolate mousse, chocolate fudge frosting, citrus (lemon, lime or orange)

Cup cake wedding tiers are also available.

Red Velvet cup cake1.jpg  Red Velvet Cake - as made popular by the film Steel Magnolias and mentioned on Grey’s Anatomy for the wedding cake of choice. This is a great cake to give to that special someone. The decoration can change from bows to hearts and the topping can be icing, chocolate ganache (white or dark chocolate), cream cheese or butter cream frosting. I can see why it is called ‘velvet cake’, it’s consistency is extremely smooth and soft in the mouth. It’s a ‘must try’!

Butterfly cup cakes.jpg  Butterflies. Madeira cake topped with lemon flavoured icing (well I had to do at least one for all those traditionists out there!). Decoration - butterflies with wings tipped in edible gold. Different colours for the icing can be requested.
